Komlanvi Dodjro (Founder and CEO)
Woezɔ, I’m Komlanvi! I’m originally from a small village in the depth of Togo, and I knew at a young age I wanted to be a part of something great. I realized that if I wanted to achieve happiness, I needed to be my own man and provider. I wanted to create something that would raise the quality of life of the people around me.
My entrepreneurial bug began at an incredibly young age and through many different projects. My love for Salsa led me to the path of becoming a professional Latin dance teacher and choreographer. I am always learning and growing, wanting to live a happy and healthy life. The moment I learned of the benefits of functional mushrooms and how they could potentially improve my spouses and friends’ health… Weepa! It was a turning point!
Similar to sharing the passion and wellbeing that exudes from dancing, I wanted to carry the same spirit and share the benefits of the functional mushrooms. I was ready to start a health revolution, one mushroom at a time.
Claudine Martel (Special Consultant and Head of Customer Happiness)
Welcome! I’m Claudine, also known as Dodjivi’s dancing queen! I’m a passionate salsa dancer and I believe happiness is best when it’s shared! I started a Latin dance school to share that passion with others and help them feel as happy as I am when I’m dancing.
Previously a Business Analyst and Project Coordinator, retired from the Public Service, I enjoy offering my experience and wisdom while building Dodjivi as a health-conscious company. As my life has personally benefitted from the amazing health properties of functional mushrooms, it made perfect sense to join the functional mushroom revolution!
Nicolas Chevallier (Photographer and Videographer)
Hello, I’m Nicolas and I’m Dodjivi’s photographer and videographer! When I moved from Paris, France to Ottawa, Ontario I knew it would be an experience of a lifetime. Moving to a new city comes with new challenges but also the possibility of discovering new passions!
I originally started in the music industry and then fell in love with photography and videography and decided to pursue it as a career. When I met the Dodjivi team, I was instantly intrigued by coffee that has potential health boosting properties. As a coffee lover but also as someone who is very sensitive to the not-so-great side effects, Healthy Mushroom Coffee peaked my curiousity! When I first tried the Chaga infused coffee, I knew it was meant to be! So you’ll find me now with a cup of Healthy Mushroom Coffee in one hand and a camera in the other!
Booky (Moral Support Executive)
Bonjour! I’m Booky! I’m Dodjivi’s Chief Moral Support Executive!
Despite my petite size (a FULL-size Yorkie, thank you very much!) I have one of the most important roles at Dodjivi! One of my favourite parts of the job is keeping an eye and ear out for any visitors and deliveries at the door. Who needs a doorbell? I’m always quick to alert the team when their attention is required!
I’m not saying I was hired for my fluffy good looks, but I do notice lots of heart eye gazes coming my way and my ability to make everyone smile! When work can sometimes get overwhelming, I like to offer cuddles with my teammates and see their worries disappear within seconds! I’m happy-go-fluffy and here to make your day! Enchanté!
